I had seen these and like the idea for quite some time so got one when my son was 4months and starting to get stronger at sitting propped up. We also got the tray to go with it which is simple to attach.
The bumbo comes in a variety of colours and is simple to clean. It has quite a deep seat so supports baby quite high in the back.
It was great to use when we started weaning and also as somewhere to put him when he got fed up of being held.
As he got a bit stronger however he began to lean forwards and quite a few times tipped so far forwards that he landed on the floor with his bottom still in the bumbo. It does say in the instructions not to leave baby unattended when in the Bumbo but i did think it would be safe and it wasnt until i told friends what had happened that i realised its quite common for this to happen.
My son had quite big legs so he grew out of it far quicker than the suggested age range but it was handy to have until he was sitting unaided and moving around.

Summary: very useful for feeding
