Bumbo chair (Bumbo Baby Seat)
Member Name: clairethebear
Advantages: Soft, sturdy, bright and great for travelling Disadvantages: Price, could be alot to some I brought a Bumbo for my son as soon as he was able to sit up, Ive worked in a number of nurseries and first saw/heard of a bumbo whilst working at one just before i had my son. I thought they looked great and was keen to get one for my child, however the price did conceren me as at £30 i thought it was alot just for a chair, but after deciding to go ahead, I got one from argos. Have to be honest and say my son hated it, he really didnt enjoy sitting in it at all but once he was a little older around 7 or so months we tried again and he loved it. I like that this chair is soft and sturdy and bright, although one friend who hadnt seen one before said 'Thats a funny looking potty'. My favourite thing about a bumbo is that its excellent for travelling. We often take it to friends and grandparents etc to feed baby in. Summary: Not great at first but turned out to be a perfect purchase |
