Advantages: Light weight, easily portable

Disadvantages: Quite expensive

The first time I saw a Bumbo was at a local baby group I used to take my then 4 month old daughter too. I thought it was fantastic and yet so simple, but was reluctant to spend the £30+ I was told they can cost for worry of her not liking it. However, after trying my daughter out in the Bumbo several times and her seeming very happy in it, I decided to purchase one. After shopping around on the net I think I paid about £27 for a pink one. Great purchase, and so handy. We used it from about 4 months til she was about 9 or 10 months-basically until she was crawling and able to wriggle out of it!! But completely safe until this stage!!!! We used it to feed her in it, if I was busy in the kitchen I would sit her in it on the worktops or in the bathroom whilst having a bath. I am sure it was from using the Bumbo that my daughter was able to sit up at just 5 months old as it taught her to use her neck and back muscles. I would thoroughly recommend this product and have even bought a Bumbo as a present for our niece! Well worth the money in my opinion.

Summary: A simple yet excellent little design that I can highly recommend
