Oh my god, what a wonderful invention! After 3 months of having my daughter permanently attached to me I bought a bumbo and finally had two hands again. Maybe it was the fact that she didn't crawl and was a late walker but this really did help day to day. I think the fact that the child can sit up independently in it makes them much more content. It was also great when I started weaning - she was still too young for a high chair so this was a fab go between. It is light enough to take with you if visiting people and I even made use of it in the garden. It was ideal to have in the kitchen when I was cooking and know she was out of harms way but still with me. It may not be for everyone but I think it depends on the baby - I know lots of mums that have used them and been really impressed.
