I think the Bumbo can be great for some babies and not for others and unfortunately it was no good for my baby.

I paid £30 for it which for me was a complete waste of money. It is expensive for what it is as it is really just a chair to sit your baby up in and it doesn't do anything at all so won't keep your baby entertained.

It is a nice sturdy little chair though and one of the good things about it is that it feels very well made and cleans up really well so definately think it can be used for several children and will not wear out.

The bad thing about it for me though was that my baby managed to get out of it very easily. I bought it when my son was 4 months old and he was never a small baby so I never thought he would be able to get out of this. When I first got it he would sit up in it for a little while but did get a little bored in it and couldn't reach his toys on the floor whilst sitting in it so he wouldn't tolerate sitting in it for long. After we had it for about a month my son worked out how to get out of it and flipped himself out of it once onto the floor so I wasn't able to use it after that. He is not a small baby either so I thought it would hold him safely but it definately did not.

I think it is a waste of money to spend £30 on it when it is only useful for a month or two but if you can get one cheaper or second hand then it can be useful but as with lots of baby items you never know whether your baby will like it or not until you try it.
