Chattering Charlie is a soft toy that I brought for my Daughter when she was about 2 or 3 months old. She had just started to notice things properly and loved holding on to things just as much! I got this toy from Mothercare, and it is not unlike the 'Boots Octopus' in the way it has different textures. It does not do as much, but my daughter acctually played with this more than the octopus as it was easier to hold.
