When I started weaning Scarlet I hadn't even thought about a high chair. At the time we lived in a small one bedroomed cottage and we only just had enough room for a cot for her not alone a high chair aswell. I had to feed her as best as I could in her Bouncer and Bebepod. That was until we moved to our nice 3 bedroomed house in October. As soon as we moved my sister bought us a highchair for Christmas. I wasn't sure at the time which one she was getting us as she did her reasearch with her sister in law to find the best one for us. I had decided that I was going to go without a high chair for my daughter and get one of the ones that attach to the dining room chair, as they are much smaller and cheaper. We don't really have a problem with space, but the smaller one would be easier to take to my mums as my daughter goes there 3 days a week. In the end I thought it would be easier to leave the smaller one at mums and start the search for a highchair. I didn't really want to spend a great fortune on a highchair as they dont really go in them for too long and I just wanted one that serves its purpose. I knew that I would need a high chair for my son, so I started to browse around at all the different types on offer and read a few reviews, I never knew there were so many that offered so many different things!! I had been given advice from a friend of mine who had paid a fortune for an all singing, all dancing high chair just to find that it was useless and they bought a cheap one from Argos that did exactly the same job, and so I didn't really want to pay a great deal for our high chair.
