As my son approached six months, we started to think about what sort of high chair to buy and were initially attracted to the wooden variety which would fit in with our décor (oh how I laugh now, surrounded by a sea of brightly coloured plastic!) However, after some online research I found myself more and more attracted to the Happy Snack due to consistently good reviews and a reasonable price. We managed to get hold of one for £49.99, but they do often come up cheaper in the sales. Once we got it home, my husband managed to set it up easily within 10 minutes and we had a little play with the various functions. Folding the chair does take a bit of practice, ... When Hope was in a highchair we had a Toys R Us one which we were very happy with and we were intending to buy a similar one for our new baby as we didn't think we would be able to compare it to anything else but our neighbours offered us theirs which was this Chicco Happy Snack Highchair. We thought seeing as it was offered to us for free that we would give it a trial and see what we thought of it. I am glad we did as it is a great highchair. Assembling it I am unsure of how it comes when you buy it as we were given this second hand but it had all been taken apart. I hate having to spend lots of time putting things together to be able to use it ... Read the complete review

My little girl started before Christmas on her 'proper' food and we needed a highchair for her to sit in! I really didn't want to spend much money, after all, it was going to end up covered in all sorts of food when it was used and wouldn't look brand new for long. My three main things I was looking for (apart from cost) were that it was sturdy, easy to put up/down and that it could be easily wiped clean. I also preferred one that would be stored in a small space but this wasn't a deal-breaker, it was just something I wanted if possible so it didn't stick out like a sore thumb when not in use. We went to Mothercare and Babies R Us to have a look at what was ... Read the complete review

When the time came to get a high chair I had no idea what one to get because there was so many choices available so my mum got fed up listening to me and went and bought the chicco happy snack high chair and I am so glad that she did. I am not sure exactly how much she payed for it but after a quick look it seems to be around £45-£50 which does seem rather expensive I think but we used our from the moment we started weaning my son off milk until he was too big for the high chair and able to sit by himself at a table, so we certainly got our moneys worth. This particular high chair comes in an assortment of colours and patterns and we got the one which is blue ... Read the complete review

When I started weaning Scarlet I hadn't even thought about a high chair. At the time we lived in a small one bedroomed cottage and we only just had enough room for a cot for her not alone a high chair aswell. I had to feed her as best as I could in her Bouncer and Bebepod. That was until we moved to our nice 3 bedroomed house in October. As soon as we moved my sister bought us a highchair for Christmas. I wasn't sure at the time which one she was getting us as she did her reasearch with her sister in law to find the best one for us. When she however bought it up to our house I was so chuffed with the one she picked. She had bought the Chicco Happy ... Read the complete review
