Advantages: all round fantastic and affordable highchair

Disadvantages: none yet

I had decided that I was going to go without a high chair for my daughter and get one of the ones that attach to the dining room chair, as they are much smaller and cheaper.
We don't really have a problem with space, but the smaller one would be easier to take to my mums as my daughter goes there 3 days a week.

In the end I thought it would be easier to leave the smaller one at mums and start the search for a highchair.
I didn't really want to spend a great fortune on a highchair as they dont really go in them for too long and I just wanted one that serves its purpose.
I read a fair few reviews, and narrowed it down to about 5 highchairs. I then selected the cheapest two of the five and went and test drived them with my daughter at Mothercare.

The chair was fantastic, with 3 recline positions, so great for babies who start weaning before 6 months and can't hold their head properly. It folded up, not to reduce that much space, but ti folded so I could take it anywhere if I needed to. What I liked about it was the 5 point harness for safety (there is also a bit in the middle i.e the legs go either side, which is fab as it stops baby from sliding down) and the fact the tray comes off (easy for cleaning) and they cover comes off (also easy for cleaning).

We decided this was the chair, so now I needed to find it at its cheapest and I did just that.
Boots had it on offer for £39.99 with free delivery and 600 extra boots points, bargain in all ways I thought, until it was out of stcok...damn!
The cheapest place I could then find it which I could trust was Toys R Us at £45 or something similar.

We got the hawaii design, as although we have a girl, if we had another baby and it was a boy it could be re-used.

I so love this highcahir and glad I brought it. My daughter is comfortable in it, its is very easy to clean, the seat is very easy to clean, you can just wipe it down, or take it off to get underneath it for the crumbs.
The tray is a good size and comes off to clean, and also has 4 settings it can go on i.e closest to baby, and it moves out on each setting.
The harness can be taken off to clean too...perfect for carrot puree all over it.

There is also a handy storage basket and a foot rest for when baby is older.

What I also like that with or without the tray, the highchair fits under our dining room table so we can all sit round the table properly.

Summary: a fab highchair I am glad I brought
