As a first time mum, the time had come to face the daunting and if not somewhat messy task of weaning. Firstly, take one highchair. Ah! Need a high chair. Lets go and get one then. So off I went with one baby and one friend in tow to a leading baby shop. So many to choose from. Eventually, I decided on the Chicco Mamma high chair as I had heard that Chicco was a good make and I liked the look of this one. It was colourful without being too "In you face" and it looked sturdy. It was also reduced in price to just under £80 which swayed my decision enormously. Task Number one over with. Task number two, get it home. Good job I'd taken a ... Read the complete review

A sturdy easy to use chair suitable from your babys first solid meal. It has a soft washable cover that can be removed for a really good scrub down and a 5 point harness that is very easy to fasten. There are however two problems with the harness. Firstly it is very hard to clean, with grimmy bits of food often getting stuck in the holes and ridges. Secondly although the chair is suitable for even the youngest feeder due to the recline the harness doesn't really adjust small enough for some. It has 3 reclining positions and 5 hight positions which make it great for feeding when at a table or from a low chair. The tray stores on the back neatly ... Read the complete review

Wow this chair is chunky lol! I bought this out of my fiance's mum's catalogue, as I didn't have the money to buy one, and I didn't really have much choice in the matter, as there were only 2!!! Honestly, what a choice lol! There was this wooden one, which I didn't want, as I don't need any self assebly things!! They just get everone wound up, so I chose this, the Chicco Mamma chair, as it comes fully assembled. All you need to do is slot the tray one! I'd had buggies by Chicco, and I knew they were a good brand, so I felf ok about buying it, everything was great...apart from the price £110!!!!! But it's ... Read the complete review

My daughter June purchased this highchair from mothercare during a sale for feeding her first child jordan in. She was very lucky to have a sale on reducing the price to just under £100. The solid framed highchair is quite heavy and her partner was a little puffed out having to carry it all the way from the local branch to our house ( they are all living with us at present, awaiting a place on own) Anyway on arriving home with a very heavy and large box thee opened it to see how it looked and worked. The highchair consisted of:- yellow stable feet Blue seat and rod supports yellow tray Aqua blue padded cushion ... Read the complete review

I chose this high chair as it is so much safer than others. So many seemed weak and likely to topple over.I liked the fact that it had safety straps that are similar to a buggy and when the baby first uses it, (especially if they are small) you don't have to worry about them sliding about. A friend's son had a nasty accident in a high chair when he slid from the seat and became trapped under the tray section, fortunatley she managed to stop him doing any damage but he was left very frightened. I wanted a high chair that could recline if they fell asleep without their head falling into their diiner, also had safety straps, varied heights and easy ... Read the complete review
