Advantages: safe and sturdy, with varying heights for meal or play times

Disadvantages: heavy and more expensive than others

I chose this high chair as it is so much safer than others. So many seemed weak and likely to topple over.I liked the fact that it had safety straps that are similar to a buggy and when the baby first uses it, (especially if they are small) you don't have to worry about them sliding about.

A friend's son had a nasty accident in a high chair when he slid from the seat and became trapped under the tray section, fortunatley she managed to stop him doing any damage but he was left very frightened.

I wanted a high chair that could recline if they fell asleep without their head falling into their diiner, also had safety straps, varied heights and easy to keep clean. This chair had all those. It is more expensive than a lot of other makes but the pros outweighed all of the cons.

I would suggest a toothbrush to help clean the straps for bits of food that becaome lodged.

I like the way that the varying heights allows the baby to sit at the same height as the rest of the family at the dining room table. The colours would suit any decor and athough it is heavy to move from place to place, it is ideal to leave at the table with your other dining chairs.
