Advantages: Lots of different seating positions and heights so the chair will last a few years

Disadvantages: Very pricey, it's a good thing I have generous parents!

My mum got the Chicco Pollyanna Highchair Magic for my daughter when she was born.

Although I have personally not been able to use it to its fullest extent because our daughter insisted on being held all day long, I find this highchair really good if you don't have such a demanding baby.
When baby is first born the chair can be tilted right back to a comfy lying down position, and a mobile type attachment clipped on to the arms so that baby is entertained. As they get older, the extra padding on the chair can be removed as baby gets bigger, and baby can be tilted up a little so she can see what you're up to while she's in her chair. When our daughter first started beingweaned onto solids, she would Sometimes fall asleep when eating. What's great is you can tilt the chair back to a reclined position so she could sleep peacefully.

Getting to the weaning stage, you then clip on a very generously sized table on to the fold down arms, and what else I love is the removable tray on top that you can take off and wash rather than struggle with the whole thing.

The padded plastic seat is also removable so everywhere that baby is going to touch and spill/smear food onto can be thoroughly cleaned - very important.
As baby's legs get longer, the foot rest is adjustable to three different positions.

I love the net at the back of the chair that can hold wet wipes, favourite toys, spare bibs/cloths.

We haven't yet got to the stage where we can take the tray away for her to eat at the table with us, but it's good to know the option's there.

The chair is extremely sturdy and well made, nothing flimsy about it. I know that we'll be using it when the next baby comes along and it will still be as good as new.
A pricey piece of kit, but you have so many different things you can do with it that it's worth the money spent.

Summary: If you have set enough money aside, this chair is a bed/play centre and feeding chair in one
