Mothercare claim it only does up to 24 months or so and I have to confirm that the seat is narrower than most pushchairs, but my chunky 22 month old is still happy to travel in it (hopefully for a while longer yet!). I bought this stroller for my daughter in November 05 when she was 5 months old and we are still using it now (March 07). It is very narrow and light, perfect for shopping and public transport, I smugly wheel my daughter down narrow aisles in shops and in between racks that defeat mothers with huge tank-like prams. We struggle with it over uneven ground but it is, by definition a city pushchair. We currently live in a country where buses have several steps up into the bus before you get to the buggy area so the light weight nature of the buggy (5kg) has been a godsend (although the baby just gets heavier and heavier!) I bought this pushchair to replace a large travel system. It is extremely compact yet roomy for baby, one thing i did find was that it was very easy to get around even the smallest shops. It has a 5 point safety harness which adjusts easily although it is a little tight if you dont alter it when you recline the seat. The handle height is adjustable to any angle you wish and adjusts easily by pressing in a button on either side of the handle. The seat recline works on a drawsting system, you can make the back of the seat tilt at any angle but it does not lie completely flat so wouldn't be suitable for a very young baby.
