Why I choose this brand. (Cow & Gate in General)

Advantages: Less wasted materials, Cartons are handy.

Disadvantages: Not all milk suits every baby so don't bulk buy until you are satisfied your baby is happy on it.

I think all baby milks are much the same. You get your first milk, the one for hungrier babies and the step up.

I went for Cow & Gate because of the reusable boxes. I used SMA first time around and was left with hundreds of tins - that might come in useful for something.

I also checked that Cow & Gate did the little cartons. I found these a life saver first time around.

The 500ml cartons cost about 50p and are great if you are pushed for time. I used them during the hot weather when I was out for a while and worried about keeping a bottle cool all day.

Now the wee one is finished with powdered milk I have 3 handy boxes instead of the tins that I never did find a use for.
