Advantages: cute design on seat

Disadvantages: Where do I start?

We were given this high chair as a gift during my first pregnancy. I would not
have chosen this chair myself but as we had it I couldn't justify buying another
one. I have used it for all three of my children but I have to say that I'm not
very keen on it and I wish it would have fallen apart long ago. The fact that it
turns into a chair and table has been no real use to me as I can only think of
maybe two occasions when I have used it like this. The chair is huge and
cannot be folded up for storage. To clean it you have to unscrew it and take it
all to pieces. You can only remove the plastic tray by undoing four screws and
obviously these have to be re-screwed when you replace the tray. By the time
my first child had finished with it there was a small split in the plastic seat. By
the time my second child had finished with it there were two bit splits in the
plastic seat and the strap that goes down between the legs was no longer
attached and could not be fixed. My third child is still using it now but once he
is done it will be going on the fire. When a child rocks back and forth it looks
like it will tip up and because the wood isn't treated in any way makes it look
cheap and it's difficult to keep clean. As the seat is in an upright position this
chair is no use for children who cannot support themselves. When the child is older because of the frame size this chair cannot be pulled up to the normal family dining table.

Summary: Given a choice I'd never have bought this chair
