Advantages: Great product
Disadvantages: Doesn't look as attractive as others
It was time to start weaning my daughter off bottles onto solid food. For this I needed a high chair. With it being a first time mother I had no idea what a high chair to pick as I honestly did not have a clue what I was really looking for.
I am one of those people that like different things than what everybody else picks. So for that reason and the fact that me and my daughter both likes Winnie The Pooh I chose this particular one, luckily for me I'm glad that I did as it came in very useful and done my daughter up to the age of 3.
This product is a 3 in 1 high chair. You can use is as a table and chair, the chair its self, or you can stack the chair on top on the table (using the instructions you will see the correct way to do this). When you look at the high chair in all fairness it doesn't look safe and at the time when it was sat built in front of me I had doubts wither this would be safe or not. After giving it a reasonable shake I knew that it was steady enough for my daughter to sit in without it falling over and her getting hurt. Rest assured that it is made from solid wood so it is not going to break easily.
My daughter used the high chair from when she was 6 months old up until she was 1 and a half, that is when she started to use the table and chair. I thought that this is a fantastic idea not only does it come in useful for meal times but also for when your child is drawing, painting, or doing jig-saws.
It comes with a tray that can be detached and is easily wipe able. The material that the high chair is made with is also easy to clean although if you do not clean the highchair at the time when it is dirty and you child gets food on the wood it is harder to clean off.
This particular high chair is not reclining and you cannot adjust the height. To be honest this did not bother me because I would not have any young child using a reclining chair while eating. In my opinion I just do not think it is safe. Good idea is your child falls asleep after a meal but let's face it that hardly ever happens.
When you buy the product it comes in a flat pack that is easily assembled. I managed to do it myself without anybody else's help so it only needs 1 person's assembly.
At the time when I bought this product I paid 49.99 but with the credit crunch this product has gone up to £59.99. At the time I bought this I thought that it was expensive enough but when I look back it done my child from 6 months to 3 years and also done my second daughter as well. Where as a normal cheaper high chair would have only lasted her from 6 months to a year.
So I think I bagged myself a bargain, and although the price has jumped up by £10 more I still think that it is worth the money and would not think twice about buying another one if I had another child.
Throughout the years the design of the product has stayed the same but the pictures of Winnie The Pooh has changed. It is a unisex high chair that both girls and boys can use. I don't think that it is a very attractive high chair but I do know that it is handy, safe, and doesn't take up any more room than your average high chair.
I would rate this product 10/10 and would highly recommend it to anybody who is thinking about starting to wean their child off bottles to food. I hope my review was of some use to you. Thank you for taking the time to read it.
