Advantages: sensitive to the right smoke and complete with battery check chart

Smoke detectors can be a bit of a nuisance when they are too sensitive ,we had one that went off every time I put the grill on .I got so fed up of it I took the battery out which kind of defeats the object.However I have just bought a new one that cost £8.00 from Do It All and it is great.It is slightly less sensitive to the cooker than the old one we had but sensitive to fire smoke .We put a lighted piece of paper near it just to test it out -and yes it works.This one has an extra bonus as it has a little chart that is just under the cover where you mark when the batteries are changed.
