I purchased the Evenflo Phases high chair for $89 each I do not know what the price is in pounds. I liked the fact that it has two heights and you can remove the tray and use it as a booster seat. The seat can be removed from the base and an infant carrier/carseat can be place on it. The base can be placed on its side and use it as a table and chair. The base has a compartment that has a tracing board inside and the flap also a place for Lego Building Blocks to be attached. The seat is padded with a vinyl cover for easy cleaning. The straps can also be removed for cleaning or when the chair is used with older children as a regular chair. The chairs are very sturdy and easy to clean.
One minor problem I had was when I purchased bowls with suction cup on the bottom so the kids could feed themselves without the bowl moving all over the place. The tray is textured and the bowls do not stay attached. I solve this problem with a place mat however they eventully started trying to pick up the place mat.
I do not know if the seat is available over in the UK but I would recommend it to anybody who wants a high chair that can be used for many years.
