Faye and Lou Rainbow muslins - an absolute must have!

One baby product that I would certainly not want to live without are muslin cloths and lots and lots of them, they come in handy for numerous things from mopping up baby drool to protecting my clothing from baby spit up, as well as being great makeshift sheets, tissues, bibs and changing mats - really the list can go on and on.

Up until I found the Faye and Lou rainbow muslins the majority of muslins that I had come across and purchased where either white, baby pink or baby blue - far from being exciting. However, in the pack of rainbow muslins, which get delivered in a nice box making them ideal for a special baby gift, you get seven brightly coloured muslins including; yellow, turquoise, purple, orange, pink, red and green. There is nothing bland or boring about the rainbow colours and they are all strong and vibrant and even after being put through my washing machine dozens of times (even with the odd hot wash) the rainbow muslins are still pretty close if not exactly like their original colour. I really like all the colours and the majority of them are pretty gender neutral apart from the rather nice hot pink (arguably).

The individual rainbow muslins are very much a typical muslin size (approx 60 cm x 60 cm) and are made from 100 percent cotton so they are lovely and soft to touch while still remaining highly absorbent. If I am honest really the only difference between these muslins and other much cheaper muslins that I own is the fab array of strong colours, in every other sense these are just bog standard muslin cloths.

Yes the Rainbow muslins are expensive and they usually retail for around £30 and are available from places like John Lewis or Amazon, but I really like mine and they are something that I use on an almost daily basis. And although I would not buy packet after packet of these I do think that having a few brightly coloured muslins to brighten up my stash has been worth the price. If nothing else having the bright colours available at hand makes for a much more stimulating and exciting game of peek-a-boo with my little baby. These really are muslins that I use every day and it's nice having something so reliable but also that just looks a bit more special. I have also had quite a few people comment on them, as I mentioned it's quite hard to find strong bold coloured muslins and these really do stand out in amongst a wealth of baby pinks, blues, creams and whites.

From me the Faye and Lou Rainbow muslins get the full five out of five star rating. And personally I will be buying more of them in the future and I do think that they would make a lovely gift to anyone expecting a baby.

Highly recommended - I absolutely love mine!
