We bought this chair when my little girl was 6-months old and starting to eat solid food. She is now nearly three and we are still using it. In fact, we liked it so much we even bought a second one to keep at Grandma's house. We choose the chair originally because we have a small, space limited house and didn't want to have a lot of space taken up by a traditional high chair. This chair is excellent because it fits over a chair you already own and can be taken off and put back on very easily.
