I am lucky enough to have a friend who gave me her pushchair when my youngest was 4 months old. (we had decided to do without a double) and I have LOVED it ever since it arrived. It is a lovely smooth buggy to push and I find it a extra plus that it is nice and high (I am 5.9") so I dont get a backache while pushing for a longer amount of time Both my girls seem comfortable and happy in it, and they love sitting looking at each other giggling. This was the first pushchair ( barring cheap buggys!) that I'd bought new - and it's the worst buy I ever made! I guess the main problem is having stuck with second hand pushchairs I always had older, sturdier models! This was a plastic pathetic monstrosity and I hated it! Aesthetically it's a very attractive pushchair and has lots of nice features included; hood, cosy toes, and bumper bars... but beware these very features turn into your worst nightmare! I got a Graco Twin Mirage second hand last summer when expecting my second baby. Although it was over 2 years old, it was in surprisingly good condition and my friends assumed it was brand new until I told them otherwise. It is very easy to steer, the weight balance is good (it doesn't feel heavy on the side the toddler sits on), the seats independently adjust to lie back or sit up, it has a five point harness for each child, generous shopping trays and a hood. I find the handle very comfortable to hold and the brake easy to operate. The folding mechanism is simple and very easy to use, and it folds down smaller than my 2 in 1, leaving more room in my boot!
