Advantages: soft, flexible.

Disadvantages: a bit deep perhaps?

I have to admit that I don't completely share everyone elses enthusiasm for these but I do like them.
I got one in my Bounty weaning pack and it is made out of a wonderful soft plastic and isn't harsh or charp for younghands and mouths.
I find, however, that the spoon seems quite deep. I suppsoe it's just because I'm used to using the long handles flatter spoons from Tommee tippee but neither Jake ir I seem to get on too well with these Heinz ones. I am trying it more often now though to try to acclimatise him to more normal shaped cutlery.
It's excellent too for cleaning out a bowl properly ( and my son likes to have as much out of the bowl as he can possibly get!) it'll practically leave it so clean you won't need to wash it (I DO of course!!)
So, try them ,They feel nice and look nice and I am now trying to "wean" Jake off his flat spoons onto these!
