I started off with pampers new baby nappies. As my daughter was only 5lbs 14 oz, however, these were a little on the large side. Somebody told me that Huggies nappies tended to come up smaller, even though they are recommended for the same size baby as pampers, so I gave them a try. The huggies nappies did seem to come up slightly smaller and they fitted my new baby well. The nappies are lovely and soft, stretchy and well elasticated. Before I had my baby I was determined that I was only going to use terry nappies as I didn’t want to spend a fortune on disposables, which were bad for baby’s bottom and bad for the environment. I even went as far as buying the terry nappies. However, I quickly realised that things don’t always go to plan when you actually have your baby.
