I love Ikea products, the simple design and minimalistic priced tag really suit my lifestyle.

Having 3 children in a short space of time means that I have tried and tested many highchairs. For our 1st child we a really expensice mamas and papas highchair with an extortionate pirce tag. It quickly got grubby and had many bits for food and sick etc to get stuck. We quickly moved onto booster seats but came across this highchair while visiting a restaurant and asked where it was from.

Back then we didnt have an ikea near us so when we went to visit friends down south we popped into ikea on the way home to pick one of these up. I was amazed and delight to find that it was just under £10 for the highchair. Although it is basic it is exactly what you need in a highchair. We also bought the tray at £4 and the inflatable support at £5.

The highchair itself is white with a shaped back and bar between the childs legs so that they cant fall through. It has belt straps too for added safety. It is really easy to clean and without the tray sits perfectly beside the table. The seat height is around 55cm which is just under our table height. The tray slides easily on and is made of the same white plastic that the highchair is made of and it has raised edges to prevent spills. The inflatable support is a great idea as it is easy to clean and can be inflated or deflated so that the child can be really supported or can sink back into the chair.

For under £20 all in this is one of the best baby products I have purchased.

Summary: Cheap, hygenic, minimalistic highchair.
