I've had a packet of the Krama washcloths from Ikea for a couple of years now, they have absolutely tonnes of uses and they currently cost just £3.00 for a packet of 10 washcloths. I think that I only paid around £2.00 for them a couple of years ago, but even so they are still good value at £3.00.
So you basically get a packet of 10 white square washcloths, each washcloth is 30cm x 30cm, and each washcloth has a coloured hanging loop in the corner so that you can either hang them up or even maybe choose different coloured loops for different members of the family or different jobs. You get 5 different coloured hanging loops in the packet, 2 of each colour.
These are machine washable at up to 60°C, and they can go in the tumble dryer, you are not supposed to bleach them though. I do normally wash these at 60°C, but occasionally will wash them at 40°C and they still come up clean. I always put them in the tumble dryer as I find that towels and washcloths etc will go as hard as a bone otherwise. I find that if there are any stubborn stains on these then if I just add some Vanish to the wash then it will remove them. Mine have been washed probably hundreds of times now and are still fine. They are actually surprisingly soft for the low price, especially if they've been dried in the tumble dryer to fluff them up.
I use these for all sorts of things; I primarily bought them to use for when our little nephew stays over, to wipe his hands and his face, and to use in the bath etc, and I still do. He especially likes choosing his own coloured loop and this seems to make washing and wiping and bathtimes easier! These are invaluable with a little one and spills and stains etc. Because they were so cheap and there were so many in the packet you can just mop up or wash with one and then throw it in the wash basket. They are also a bit like a mini towel, and so I'll always throw a couple in his bag when I'm out and about with him.
I've also found that I use them myself as well; I find that they are good to use with my normal wash off cleanser to make a slightly exfoliating facewash, it creates more of an exfoliating wash than just using my hands alone but obviously not as much as using a proper face scrub. Again because I have so many, I'll use it the once and throw it in the wash basket.
I've been more than happy with these for the low price that I paid, I'd definitely recommend them and I'd definitely repurchase them.
