Advantages: saves time and powder spills

Disadvantages: a big fridge is a must

If you hate making up bottles.Or get fed up with the powder spills when adding the milk to the bottles. Then this is a must. This jug holds 40oz of formula milk. You just fill the jug with boiled water,as you would with bottles.And then add the formula milk. There is a mixing paddle that attaches to the lid,with a big handle on top. You just turn the handle.And hey presto the milk is mixed.And another good thing. When it is no longer needed for baby's milk. It is ideal for making up milkshakes for the kids. The only downfall is the size. It is a bit big to fit into the fridge.But if you have got more than one child, then more than likely you will have a big fridge. So it shouldn't be to much of a problem. I am well chuffed with it. It will save me alot of time.
