These are a Fab little creation. For all mums out there with babies who are bottle fed sterilising is an essential part of your daily routine.Sterilising can be awkward though when going on holiday or out and about visiting friends. When you are at home you have a sterilising unit but when on your travels the last thing you want to do it drag it along with you ....This is where these strerilisation bags come into play.
We often go and stay at my parents and with having my young son who is soley bottle fed i need to have sterile bottles handy.
I was in Boots grabbing some dummies and noticed these down the same aisle so i had a look at them and thought excellent exactly what i needed a product that is small, lightweight but yet perfroms the same task as my streiliser at home.
They are made by Lindam a reputable name in baby safety products so a trusted name to me.The pack contains 3 bags for the price of £4.99 even though after purchasing them for that price i have seen them in wilkinsons for only £3.99.Each bag can be used up to 20 times and on the front of each bag there are numbers running from 1 to 20 and you can mark the bag with a biro to show how many remianing uses are left.
Each bag can hold 2 bottles at a time and its accessories.I have read on other reviews that they are not good for wide neck bottles but i have the tommee tippee closer to nature bottles which are probably the widest bottles out there and mine go in just fine.
The bags arevery easy to use all you do is wash your bottles as normal, then add 70ml of water to the strerilising bag and place in your bottles and teats as shown on the diagram on the bag.The bottle has to be facing a certain way.You then simply pop them into the microwave for 3 minutes. When taking them out you simply pour the water out of the end of the bag with the spout. Also with the spout/valve for the water to come out you have miimum risk of getting burnt by the steam.
The bottles after this are ready to be filled up as necessary and for you to feed your baby with.
These are so quick and easy to use that anyone who doesnt even usually sterilise bottles could follow the instructions ie, ideal to leave at nanny & grandads house for when the little darlings go to stay...lol
I think these are a excellent item and i couldnt and wouldnt be without them knowing that they exist.Ideal for holidays and travelling and very simple to use. What more can you ask for ??
Summary: The travel must have for bottle fed babies
