Advantages: Holds alot of items

Disadvantages: Steamy kitchen and horrible smell!

I purchased this steriliser before I gave birth to my daughter, I thought there was not much difference between all of the different steam sterilisers and that this one would suit my needs. I have only had the steriliser for 5 months and already it is broken! It may have been my fault as the button had been pressed accidently when the had been no water added, this therefore knackered the element and has now left me with a broken steriliser. The other problems I found with a steam steriliser was the steamy kitchen it gave me and the foul smell which came from it after just a few uses, it did not matter how many times I cleaned it! I have now bought a microwave steriliser which I find is just wonderful as it leaves me with none of the problems listed above.

Uh oh, doesen't sound like a very good steriliser to me. If you have kept the receipt or it is under warranty, then maybe you get get it repaired or get a refund back. Good luck x

We have always used cold water sterilisers, which take around 30 mins to fully sterilise a bottle, the only thing that can go wrong with them is if you accidentaly drop it and it cracks but most are pretty robust and don't cost much depending where you buy it from, take care Chele X
