      Five out of five stars

One baby product that I would certainly not want to live without are muslin cloths and lots and lots of them, they come in handy for absolutely everything from mopping up baby drool to protecting my clothing from baby spit up, as well as being great makeshift sheets, tissues, bibs and changing mats - really the list can go on and on. I doubt there are many parents out there that don't at the very least rely on a few muslin cloths, personally I have so far accumulated quite a substantial muslin stash. I would say that a good muslin cloth is a daily essential.

I have seen the Marks and Spencer's pure cotton muslin cloths available to buy in packs of 5 or 10, I bought the pack of five white muslin cloths for £7, which considering how often I use them has been well worth the money. The last time I was in Marks and Spencer I was tempted to buy more of the muslins because they have a range of more colourful muslins and muslins with patterns available. Although I do like having a few white muslin cloths I do much prefer having something brighter or something more stimulating for my baby because she is around the cloths all day every day. There is currently a striped packet of five cloths that I have my sights on.

As I mentioned I own the white pure cotton muslin cloths and I have been surprised by how white they have remained even after pretty much constant use. The muslin cloths have been thrown in the wash more times than I care to remember and so far they have always came out looking nice and still a bright white colour. I suspect that I will have these muslin cloths for quite a while to come yet.

In a lot of respects the Marks and Spencer's pure cotton muslin cloths are very typical of the majority of muslin cloths available, they are made from 100 % cotton, they are approx 60 cm x 60 cms and are highly absorbent. They do feel like a good quality muslin and despite quite a lot of use they have retained their original shape and don't show much or really any sign of wear and tear.

Personally, I have found the Marks and Spencer's pure cotton muslin cloths to be an absolute baby essential and something that I doubt you could ever have too many of - well maybe you could have too many... but I am sure that they would still all get used.

In my opinion the M & S muslins deserve no less than the full five out of five star rating and they come highly recommended from me. I will no doubt be buying more muslin cloths from Marks and Spencer in the future and personally I think that a packet or two of some nice quality muslins would make a lovely baby gift to anyone expecting. I really like these muslins and I wouldn't want to be without one to hand.
