Advantages: soft nipple like teats!

Disadvantages: none that i can think off....

when weaning my daughter from breast to bottle - i tried absolutely every thing going... and then somebody suggested these... an absolute god send!
The teat is supose to replicate a nipple...making the transaction smooth and easy - and thats exactly what it did!
I love the design of the bottle - the base unscrews for easy cleaning, and this is such a good idea, it save trying to reach the bottom with a bottle brush and has lasted longer then a normal bottle would and i think thats because you can clean it easier and to a better standard as you can get in all the little nooks and crannies!
i like the idea that you can have pink, blue or unisex - and little girl is now a little older and loves having a pink bot bot!
The other bonus of using a malm bottle is that when the child gets to the age where you dont want them to be using a teat any more....and this can be another hard stage! you can buy malm soft spouts and put them on instead!

Summary: a great bottle that then turns into a beaker!
