After months of feeding my son on my lap or letting him walk round rubbing food into the carpet (nightmare!) I decided that buying a highchair was long overdue. The only reason I hadn’t bought one for so long was that generally highchairs are so expensive and I objected to paying so much for something decent! I looked around Mothercare and the prices were £30 to £99. The £30 highchairs looked flimsy and in nasty colours and the nicer, stronger ones were overpriced. After giving up on Mothercare I eventually I looked in the Argos catalogue. The only highchair that Argos had that looked comfortable and was a low price (£34.99) was the Mamas & Papas Luca high ... I managed to buy my Mamas & Papas highchair in a closing down sale for £35, which is the main reason I bought it, as far as I'm concerned highchairs are highchairs. However I have been very impressed with this one. For starters it folds down, so that it can be hidden away in a cupboard (or in my case behind a door). To fold it down you have to depress two buttons which at first I found difficult, but after it had been done a few times it got easier. The actual seat is of a wipeable material with a nice teddy design. The tray comes right off and has about 5 positions so as your child gets older you can adjust it to suit them. The highchair is also a ... Read the complete review

MAMAS & PAPAS CUISINE HIGH CHAIR Couldent find this model on dooyoo search but noticed the reveiws for mamas and papas highchair seemed to have different types so thourght best to put here. Both me and my husband decided we wanted solid wooden chair as we have too small kitchen to eat in and large lounge/diner so wanted it to look good and last baby -toddler. We both loved the look of STOKKE Tripp trap but it worked out quite expensive as you had to buy baby set and cushion separate which made it £150 markl Plus no tray was a downside. We looked in Mothercare but none caught our eye, all the chairs we liked in John Lewis ... Read the complete review

I bought a Mamas & Papas highchair on a recommendation 2 years ago, and am very pleased with the way it has lasted. It features a padded wipe clean seat with a high back, safety strap, 5 position adjustable tray which is very easy to wipe clean and also an adjustable footrest with 2 positions. It folds easily and can be stored leaning against a wall or in a cupboard, taking up little space. I have found it very practical. The adjustable positions of the tray make it particularly suitable for even 6 month old babies, yet it will also comfortably (and safely) take a toddler. I am impressed by the durability, and how good it looks after 2 years of use (or should I say ... Read the complete review

A friend just bought this highchair, and I was very impressed with it. It was made in nice bright colours, ideal for young babies, because the seat reclines into four positions. It is very well made with chunky legs and a cosy seat ideal for your baby. The chair has seven different height positions. It can be used as a high chair, low chair, or even a dining chair because you can remove the tray. It can moved around easily on lockable castors. You can also fold it down for storage. My only worries were, it would be very bulky and a bit to big for a small kitchen. I am not sure it is ideal for travelling with either, as it is a bit bulky. It is suitable form ... Read the complete review
