I purchased this buggy as part of a travel system with a matching car seat from John Lewis in Reading. I have bought a lot of baby equipment from this retailer as they price match, offer free delivery and give brilliant after sales service. At the time, 24 months ago, I paid £269.00 for the complete system; the price included a foot muff and rain cover. I intend to review the car seat at a later stage. I choose this particular model as it had good reviews ,offered good value for money and most importantly would meet my needs. What you get for your money Mamas and papas is a well-known make and I have always been impressed with the quality of their ... Read the complete review

I had a proper pram for my daughter and when I discovered I was pregnant, I wanted an easier system to be able to manage with 2 children under 3. Especially for going shopping. After a lot of looking I was won over by the pliko buggy! I got my buggy as part of an end of range clearance so Instead of £209 I bought it for £165! It came with a raincover, cosytoe, hood and a shopping basket! The buggy itself is very sturdy and I feel confident about using it knowing that unless my 3 year old now pulls on it, it will not tip over! The handles are lovely to hold and have 2 height setting so if you are small and your partner is tall you can both use this buggy ... Read the complete review

It took me ages to decide which pram/pushchair to go for when I was pregnant with my daughter but eventually after reading tons of reviews I decided on the Mamas & Papas Pliko Pramette. It is expensive, costing about £300 plus extra if you want any of the matching accessories i.e. cosy toes, parasol, travel bag but in my opinion it is well worth the money. I liked the fact that it could be either a traditional style pram where your baby would be lying flat and facing you and that it could then adapt to a pushchair when they were older (I switched to pushchair at about 5 months). It comes in a variety of different patterns as well, all of which are really stylish - ... Read the complete review

So I haven't been around for a while and this is my first review back...What can I write a review of for my first back...and then it came to me, for weeks now I have been meaning to get on here and write a review on this god awful pram. Ok so that may be a slight exaggeration but not much. Let me tell you more. I chose this pram because of the look of it. Fashionable, trendy, every mums dream. I'd seen a few mums out and about with it and time after time I had craved this pram. I didn't even bother looking at any others when I was expecting my daughter, I knew this was the one I wanted. I had been for a demonstration in Mamas and Papas and was quite ... Read the complete review

Here's a list of major problems - which will arise after your honeymoon period with the pramette's good looks quickly subside. In "pram mode" there is no harness available, also if you look closely, the child's head is at a lower level than it's feet ! This is dangerous and unacceptable. In "stroller mode" the Pliko P3 Pramette chair (when zipped together) has a trapezoidal design : 7 inches deep, 12 inches wide at the front, but more importantly, ONLY 9 INCHES WIDE at the back. The average back width of a buggy / push-chair / stroller chair is between 12 and 14 inches ... This is a major problem, and a fatal design ... Read the complete review
