Advantages: Comfortable for baby and very sturdy Disadvantages: Some might find it a bit heavy
It took me ages to decide which pram/pushchair to go for when I was pregnant with my daughter but eventually after reading tons of reviews I decided on the Mamas & Papas Pliko Pramette. It is expensive, costing about £300 plus extra if you want any of the matching accessories i.e. cosy toes, parasol, travel bag but in my opinion it is well worth the money. I liked the fact that it could be either a traditional style pram where your baby would be lying flat and facing you and that it could then adapt to a pushchair when they were older (I switched to pushchair at about 5 months). It comes in a variety of different patterns as well, all of which are really stylish - I chose the grey polka dot one. Choosing this colour also meant that dirt never really showed up on the pushchair which is great! Obviously the wheels got dirty but after giving them a wipe down with a cloth they would look good as new. The basket underneath is a fairly good size and the raincover that comes with it is very strong and sturdy, not like some others that I have seen. Summary: Great pram, great pushchair - very long lasting |
