Advantages: Easy to use., Wide range of fabrics., Ease of installing car seat into in-car surfix base.

Disadvantages: Car work out to be expensive., Car seat is heavy., Chassis is large, even when folded.

This has to be the original Travel System, with Mamas and Papas being the first company to offer you the freedom of using any attachment (car seat/pushchair/carrycot) solo on any of their Chassis, with a simple on click attach/release system. But is origianl best ?

When I was pregnant the moment I saw this I was smitten. The ability to just click the car seat out of the car then onto the chassis simply and quickly did it for me, but after baby came and it was in everyday use its very easy to see whats what.

All Mamas and Papas equipment is on the pricey side, but once you add the Primo Viaggio car seat on this travel system it'll bump up the price by about another £70 and all in all can cost you well over £400.

The car seat is one of the heaviest on the market, which is OK when you have a 7lb newborn but a totally diffent matter when you are trying to carry around a 15lb seven month old infant. Living in a first floor flat I now have arms like a Russian shotputter.

I found it very hard to get the Surfix base for the car seat to fit snuggly every time.

Although you can get all the co-ordinating bits and pieces to go with it i.e. change bag, cosy toes and rain covers they are not included in the price and will cot you extra coming in at around £20 per item but please note you do get a basic footmuff for the pushchair and the carry cot.

But having said that the carrycot was very spacious and you can adjust the back rest so if baby has a cold you can lift his head and all fabric is machine washable.

The Chassis is very easy to fold and release (although fairly large).

The whole travel system is easy to use and the come in a wide range of trendy fabrics.

In this case, even with its faults, I would still recommend it, but do try the car seat out for weight if you are going to have to carry it up and down stairs alot.

Welcome to the site!
I have one of these three in one things, although it was expensive, it is great fun to use and looks really stylish, more importantly, my son loves it!

Claire, I'd like to find out what comes with it for the basic price. Not being a Mum just yet I assume that when you buy a pushchair / buggy that foot-things and rain-things come with it.

It sounds like a very expensive purchase (with all the extras)

Anyway, back to my point (eventually) a big warm welcome to DooYoo - enjoy the site! Fishbulb >><>?™
