I purchased a Maws microwave sterilser which included bottles and the variflow teats before the birth of my first baby and never experienced any symptoms of a colickly baby at all. The variflow teat is an excellent invention. It means that your baby gets the right amount of milk at his/her own speed.

With my second baby born earlier this year, i naturally wanted to replace all bottles and teats with new. The only snag being was that I couldn't find the Maws bottles and teats anywhere. I bought Avent in the end thinking that I was buying the best. I ended up having a very collicky, unsettled baby.

I searched and searched for Maws again. Iin the end I purchased 8 brand new bottles and teats on EBay. What a transformation in my baby! he is no longer unsettled but very happy and not at all windy and gripey.

I can 100% reccommend Maws teats but you may have a problem getting hold of them.
