Advantages: easy tou use, handy tubs, closest to breast milk

Disadvantages: more expensive

After breast feeding my daughter for 6months, overnight she decided she no longer wanted the breast and would only drink expressed milk from a bottle. After 2 months I was becoming fed up and wanted her on formula as was just too much hard work expressing all the time, I tried all the other formulas available, but because this was more expensive hadnt tried it, but after recommendation by health visitor gave it a go.

At first I tried the infant formula but she was having known of it, so then went on to stage 3 for 6mths+, after a few days she was guzzling it down and was once again happy and content. She was only on it for about 3 months but was really happy with it and didnt mind paying the extra £1 for sake of peace of mind and her beeing happy. Costs £7.98 a tin.

After speaking to a lot of health professionals it seems a lot recommend aptimal as the closest alternative to breast milk so must be a very good quality formula to get that recommendation.

The tubs are plastic as opposed to actual tins, and have a removeable foil top with a plastic lid. Each comes with a measuring scoop which can be clipped into the lid to prevent it becoming lost.

Summary: not a huge fan of formula but this was a real life saver
