Advantages: Just like breast milk

Disadvantages: Takes longer to mix if water a little too cool

Unfortunately due to a health condition I have requiring me to take medication for I am was unable to breast feed my second baby, after having lots of problems trying to find a formula milk which suited my first baby I was conceraned wewould have problems feeding my second baby. a couple of friends recomended trying Aptamil as it was reported to be as close to breast milk as a formula could be- I tried it and was very happy my baby took it and appeared to be satisfied with it at six weeks she slept through the night. When the health visitor once changed her nappy she presumed she was being breast fed as her nappies were the same appearence as that of a breast fed baby.My baby never once suffered from constipation or colic which I ahve been told could be caused if a milk disagrees with a babys system. The only negative comment is that if the water is just a little bit cooler than advised the milk powder takes longer to mix in and sometimes appears grainy although it never stopped my baby drinking it.

Summary: Recommended baby milk which keeps baby full up
