“ Brand: Morrisons / Type: Bibs „
My baby granddaughter is 19 months old and has recently started feeding herself regularly, my daughter has a plethora of bibs at home but one day (after a particularly messy baked beans incident) I realised I needed something to keep at mine too. That very day I was in Morrisons and saw a double pack of bibs in pretty pastel colours priced at just £1.49, they looked to be of good quality so I bought a pack in readiness for the next big food disaster. In the three months since I bought them they have honestly been a godsend and have noticeably seen a difference in the mess my granddaughter gets into at dinnertime. The bib itself is made from a wipe clean plastic and the best bit is it has a built in crumb catcher (or bean catcher, or spaghetti catcher, or whole-dinner catcher) which is made of a soft pliable rubber rather than hard plastic like most bibs of this nature. This is great because it means that whatever bits or blobs the bib itself misses will be caught in the fairly wide catcher. The bib is extremely easy to clean, I find a quick rinse under the hot tap will leave it sparkling clean and ready for next time. There is nothing on the bib to really soak up any water either so it doesn't need wringing out and will quickly dry on the draining board. I think the design of these bibs is excellent. It fastens with velcro around my granddaughters neck which is much safer than those tie-up bibs and easier to do up than the awful push button neck which usually seems to accompany this type of bib. The velcro is sturdy and holds together well while my granddaughter is wearing the bib, but is easy to pull apart when I want to remove it. It's a perfect fit too which leads me to believe that some thought has gone into the design of these very reasonably priced bibs. The front of the bib covers the whole front of my granddaughter, but because it's made of such a soft material it means she can freely move her arms to get the spoon into her mouth. The crumb catcher sits neatly on her lower chest and doesn't hamper her movements whatsoever, if she's slumping down in her chair I will sometimes have to remove the high chair tray to leave room for the bib to hang correctly but usually the crumb catcher will just fall short of the tray meaning she can sit comfortably without the catcher keeping on banging into the tray. I thoroughly recommend these bibs to anyone who has a small child. She was around 16 months old when I bought the bibs and although she's a dainty little thing they fit her lovely, now at 19 months old the bib still looks in excellent condition and fits a treat. The normal price for these is £2.49 I believe, but for two robust and very useful bibs (plus clean clothes after dinnertime!) I think this is a small price to pay.
Morrisons Waterproof bibs are fantastic Upon doing my weekly shop i came across this large waterproof soft plastic bib which a soft plastic tray at the bottom ( this big is not like the hard plastic ones) I paid1.99 for this and it has been an absolute godsend. I initially bought this because my son was getting christened and i didnt want him to get his clothes dirty, so I thoought I would put this on him until we got to the chuch, but I use it for everything. The bib is excellent, it is large so it covers his full front and velcro fastenes around his neck. This bib is also fantastic for saving ruined clothes, i ended up throwing away a lot of his clothes due to stains however now i can leave this bib on and his clothes are fine!! I would recommend this to anyone!! Go and grab one...quick xxx
I just had to tell you all this before the offer ends at Morrisons supermarket. If any of you live "up North" then get yourselves down to Morrisons because they are selling a great 2 pack of plastic bibs for just 99p!!! You can choose either pink/yellow or blue/green and they are made out of a smooth soft plastic with an adjustable neck fastener and a nice large crumb tray. My son is just over 7 months and I was just thinking about buying some for when he's munching on breadsticks and rice cakes. I was a bit concerned that it might be uncomfortable but he doesn't seem to mind. He can even fish out the bits he drops from the crumb tray!! And... only 99p for 2!! Bargain!
