We bought this pushchair after admiring it for a few weeks, (thinking it would be ideal for our little girl as the colours were quite different, compared to the normal blues/blacks) in our local mothercare, then it came on offer!! fab news, so buy it we did!! We bought the pram one thursday and didn't use it till the monday, first trip out and on our way home I noticed the foam handle had come out of the centre piece, leaving the foam liable to rip, after phoning mothercare we were advised to return it, which we did and they happily replaced it for us. So now we have had the new pram for 2 weeks and this one seems to be fine *touch wood* so we are very pleased with it. When we brought the pram home and opened the box, it was found in the following pieces: chassis rear axle assembly (brake to you and me :)) front wheels (2) rear wheels (2) retainer, caps & hubcaps (these are the centre pieces to your wheels) footrest stand stand guide parent tray play tray apron weathershield We found it extremely easy to put together and probably the maximum time spent on this would be about 10minutes. Some of my fave things on this pram are the fact that the seat lies perfectly flat, and then there are the extra 3 positions rather than just flat/sat up positions. The harness is 5.point. The seat is very padded and my daughter looks as snug as a bug in it, she has since decided she prefers this to her 3in1 sprung pram so I think we should have bought this first!! Plus as a wonderful bonus for mum or dad it is a lovely pram to push, even easy to push one handed with the centre piece of the handle (which is for folding really!) I also really like the folding mechanism which is really new to me! The 'centre-piece' as I keep calling it! resembles a barrell with a red button, pressing the button and turning the 'barrell' lifts the folding arms of the pram and then yo
u simply keep your hand on the 'barrell' lifting the arm at the side, and folding flat, simple! Now, my niggles, the parent tray is awkward to detach, needing to be unscrewed to be removed, the weathershield, although compact as it fits snug, to fit it correctly you need to push it under the parent tray, which I feel will only lead to ripping over use. Finally, the wheels, to lock them the latch needs to be lifted, to have on swivel the latch need to be down, doing this is very stiff and I've found I have to use my foot! I am sure though with use this will loosen off so isn't much of a problem. One hint I do have by the way, is if folding outside or on a hard surface, remove the play tray on the front as the pram seems to fold in its own way which would leave the play tray scraping the floor, I had this problem with my other pram that I had for my little boy which was a graco but of the same style. I know better this time!! :) Overall I do think this pram was a good buy for us as apart from these little niggles my daughter loves it. She looks really comfy and snug and it fits in our boot!
