Advantages: Folds very flat, cosy.

Disadvantages: Buckle and frame broken after a while.

This is about the only new thing I bought for my first baby so I thought long and hard about the best thing to get.

I wanted something that folded fairly flat but was cosy as I was due in Dec.

I did't like the fact that the 2in1's were so bulky once folded and there was no way I could manage one on the bus.

The pushchair I went for has more of a bucket style seat and can be forward or rearward facing. I tips right back but I felt that when he was young he was to slumped. I padded out the bottom of the seat with a cushion and cover this with a matching buggy liner. This was a much better position for him.

It has a hood and a zip on apron which makes it nice and cosy. The hood can be used on the matching carry cot but I didn't bother buying it.

The shopping tray is solid and keeps things dryer. It has a adjustable height handle which is almost high enough for my husband but he is 6ft 4in.

I can only use it on the bus if I put the baby in a baby carrier as I need two hands. I tend to use the buggy if I can't use the train and have to go on the bus.

It folds very flat even with the hood and raincover on it is only 35cm deep.

It is now 3years old and on its second baby and a certain point on the frame has broken. I have had to put a metal tube inside and rivet it. It is holding just now but doesn't feel as solid. It is a shame as everything else apart from the buckle is fine. My first baby was 11lb 6oz and I used it constantlty and it started to go once my second was 6 mths. I was hoping it would last through the next winter but we will see.
