When it comes to weaning your little one there are so many spoons on the market its hard to know where to begin! I was originally drawn to these for the bright colours and because they came in a pack of 6. After trying many plastic baby spoons these soon became mine and my daughters favourite.
I bought these in the morrisons baby event for around £3 for a pack of 6. They are widely available elsewhere though in other supermarkets, baby stores and online. As far as I've seen they are usually sold in the 6 pack. They are packaged on a piece of card with the munchkin brand name then covered in clear plastic so they are easily recognised. I also like that you can see the spoons in the packaging so you know exactly what you are buying.
Each of the spoons are a different combination of 2 bright colours and the handle is shaped to make them really comfy and easy to hold. I always find the flat handled ones awkward to hold.
I also really like the tip of the spoons. Health visitors now recommend that you soft tipped spoons when weaning so as not to damage baby's mouth. These spoons have a flexible tip rather than being totally rubber soft. I find this much more favourable as it still gives you some leverage but doesn't collapse against baby's mouth like rubber tipped ones. For me it is the best of both worlds. I also find the spoons hold a good amount of puree, baby spoons do tend to be too flat but these are great. My daughter finds them easy to eat from and easily gets off all the food that is on them.
The spoons are easily washable and I've used them in the dishwasher multiple times without issue.
I've found them to be everything I want in a baby spoon!
