Advantages: 5 bibs in the pack
Disadvantages: They stain very easily
My daughter Aimee is nearly 10 1/2 mnths old now! I cant beleive it! It seems like only yesterday she was born! But anyway back to the subject!
When i was about 6mnths pregnant i decided to go into town with the money i had saved up and had been given to me for my birthday etc.
Before i had gone into town i had looked through baby catalougues at home and made a list of everything that i needed to get! The list was huge & very expensive! So when i went into town instead of going to the more expensive department stores i thought i would go to the cheaper stores to try and save myself some money.
So i went into a few shops that i wont name! And they were wanting in the region of £8-9 for a pack of 5-6 newborn bibs! I was outraged! How could anyone justify charging so much money for tuiny bibs for a newborn baby!
So i decided to go into mothercare. I wasnt originaly planning to go into mothercare as i had heard from various people that it was quite expensive! But what i found was the complete opposite! Everything was very reasonably priced! I got a baby bath set for just £15 which included a towel, a wash mit, a top & tail bowl etc!
But the best buy that i have purchased for my daughter to date from mothercare is the 5 pack of newborn bibs. Which only cost me £5! Which works out at only a £1 a bib! Which is a bargain in anyones books!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
HOW LONG WILL THEY LAST?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Well my daughter Aimee is now nearly 10 & 1/2 mnths old and i am still using them! It really depends on each individual how lng you can use them for. I have managed to keep mine relativley stain free so i have been able to continue to use mine. But if they became stained and rather grubby looking i would advise that you get new ones and at only £5 for a pack of 5 you cant go wrong! I myself bought a couple of packs of theese bibs as when you first get your baby home you spend your first couple of weeks adjusting to your new life as a parent and trying to get some sort of routine so you dont have a lot of time to keep putting washing on all the time. So it is in your best interests to have more than enough of everything so you always have clean stuff for your baby.
HOW DO I WASH THEM?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
These bibs are mashine washable and are also tumble dryer safe! Which is a bonus!
In conclusion i found these bibs great value for money and very easy to wash etc. And i would greatly recomend these to anyone who is going to have a baby.
Thank you very much for reading. I hope you all find this reveiw useful when making a decision on which bibs to buy for your newborn.
xx
Summary: Great value for money!
- 01/04/06 Woolworths does good quality things for babies too at a reasonable price, and also check out Poundstretcher/Ethel Austin/Primark if you have one near you......for all the length of time a baby gets the use from clothing/equipment it is possible to buy cheap without getting shoddy goods. x |
