Advantages: true off road capability, light, Dad very willing to push!
Disadvantages: very very expensive, still huge when folded, have to take wheels off
I am a serial pushchair buyer and have owned most brands for my 3 boys. The Landrover Twin ATP was bought for my two boys aged 2 and newborn. Landrover isn't sold by Mothercare, but is sold by big stores and other specialist pram shops - we bought ours online as we got a better price. We went for the cot on one side, with the normal seat on the other, so a perfect combination for children of different ages. You just pop out the cot and pop in a seat when the little one is 4-6 months old. Plus points: True off-raoder, good for mud, beach, gravel and road. Easy to wash. Children look snug and comfortable. Easy to push. Very light- can lift it up and down stairs with 2 children in, can 'bump' it up or down stairs on my own and not shake the life out of the kids. Good for new born and older child. Looks good. Wheels come off easily and keep car from getting muddy. Raincover is good and is also useful as a wind shield. Minus points: Very expensive. Is huge when folded, if I put it in my Landrover Discovery boot I can't get the 2 spare passenger seats out. The wheels have to come off to get it in the car (though it's easy to do). Had to buy another twin stroller for my nanny as she can't fit it in her car. Doesn't fit through all shop doors. If you take it on a plane you have the bother of taking off/bagging the wheels. Must take pump and puncture kit with you always. One position seat (though it's mid way between lie and sit, it does suit waking and sleeping equally well). Forget shopping basket underneath - it's a pain, stuff falls out, it pops off...
