Advantages: Adjustable

Disadvantages: Maybe bulky for some households

I spent ages seaching for a suitable highchair, i'm a very fussy person when it comes to things for my son! I must have gone through every online store available and the best option for us was this chair.

It is reasonably priced at around £40, I bought mine from Kiddicare.com and takes very little assembly. You abviously need to attach the legs and fix the seat onto the frame but even I could manage this and i'm useless with DIY! The seat comes with the 5 point harness and seat cover already attached. The harness is adjustable and the seat cover removes for cleaning. The label says sponge clean only but I put our very grotty cover in the washer on a handwash and air dryed it and it's absolutely fine. You can adjust the height of the chair so the child can sit at the table and eat with the family. It comes with a handy padded leg rest for comfort and the seat back reclines in two positions for the young weaners or for tired toddlers that tend to fall asleep in their lunch! The tray is completely removable and when you attach it, it has two positions once very close to the child and one a bit further away for an older child. I put my son in this chair at 6 months of age but I think that you could use it from 4 months of age as it has a five point harness keeping the child secure and because the back rest has a two position recline so you could have a younger child laid back slightly. When you fold it up you need to press two levers underneath the A frame at the same time to get the rear legs to loosen into the front legs. It's a smooth action and the seat area lowers slightly almost into the frame. It is quite bulky to store even folded up but it's no more bulky that any of my friends highchairs. I store mine in a small gap of about 15cm with room to spare.

All in all, this is a good highchair. I've not had any problems with it and I would certainly recommend it.

Summary: Good value for money

It would be handy to know what age is it suitable from, does the tray come off, does it fold down small for easy storage, is it very heavy, does your child enjoy being in it and also where can it be purchased.
