Advantages: look good

Disadvantages: don't protect clothing

Skibz dribble bibs are bibs which are designed to go around a baby and can be worn pretty much as a piece of clothing. They are best for children teething and for those just starting solid food, as they come in a variety of colours, patterns and designs they are more like a fashion item rather than an essential clothes protector.

Skibz bibs are havana style bibs which have one studded clip at the back, they tail to a point at the front. They come in bright engaging colours and made of clothe making them easy to wash and to use repeatedly.

It would be fair to say that these bibs are more of a fashion statement then a serious piece of clothing protection. They have become popular with more well off parents wanting to show of little johnny or little lucy that they are hip and trendy parents. As with most things which are bought by the parents as a look rather than as a piece of important equipment they are well not the most useful.

Firstly they aren't the biggest and only protect the neck region so aren't a lot of use if your baby is having regular solid food. They don't protect clothing from food spoilage so as a cause of their existence they aren't the best. They taper to a point meaning that food from the side of the mouth tend to go on the clothes. They are small and easy to lose, and are quite expensive per bib.

On the plus side, they are very easy to get on as they only have one stud, they do collect dribbles from teething pre-crawling babies. They are also brightly coloured so food on them doesn't show up immediately, thats important when everything a baby eats seems to be orange coloured.

These are nice to look at but have limited use outside teething drooling babies but as a fashion item they are great.

Summary: look nice but aren't the most useful as bibs
