I had toyed with the idea of purchasing one of these for a good couple of months, but at first I was unsure feeling that it may turn out to be a waste of money. After all I could easily feed my baby in his car seat could'nt I? Well yes when he was small enougth to still fit in it!! However after struggling to carry the damn thing and finally realising that my little man was quite simply far too squashed to use it any more (and he's only 8 mths!!) I had to install the next stage car seat. This left me with a major dilema, no where to feed his lordship when I was on my travels! We bought this red fabric high chair (which will fit in the smallest of places in a nappy bag) and it has been indispensable. It disappears into nothing in a bag and yet when assembled is often better than many of the highchairs supplied in the cafes of major stores, which r usually more designed for toddlers than for babies I would recommend it to anyone from when they start to wean their babies and they are starting to sit up as it enables them to slouch a little if they need to or half sit up. ... It is - as I mentioned - a fabric highchair. More like a baby restraint for ordinary seating. It has a pocket that fits over the back of the chair. A few ties that tie it on to make sure it can't slip round. Then a flap that the baby sits on, you bring up between it's legs and tie round their waist. It now means baby sits on the same chairs as you and can be fed - or kept in one place while you are fed - as your hands are now baby free!!! I think I ... Read the complete review

This is certainly a great idea. I bought one for about £15 to take on holiday with me. The instructions state that should fit most dining chairs. You sit the baby in the pouch at the front and put the envelope at the back over the back of your chair. Maybe it was just me, but I only found one chair that it would comfortably fit. The back of the chair needs to be quite low or you risk tearing it when the baby sits in. I tried it on my chairs and all my friends too with no luck. So,after spending most of the holiday searching for restaurants with high chairs or feeding little one on my knee (not good when he likes anything with tomato in and i like to wear clean ...
