Advantages: Soft, tough, keep baby dry

Disadvantages: Fastens at the back which isn't easy with sleeping baby

When I was having my second daughter I started buying items for her quite early and would often pick up items for her on my weekly shopping trip. I ended up with a lot of bibs from both Asda and Tesco as I do my shopping in both and knew from my first daughter you can never have too many bibs.

The bibs I bought were a packet of white bibs which came in a pack of 5 and costs about £3.50. Each of the bibs was a good size so far to say that they reached my daughter crotch when she was tiny ( not so tiny she was 8lbs 5 born), each bib was towelling on the front and has a white trim around the edges with a Velcro fastening at the back to keep the bib in place, this is the only drawback for me as I like a bib which fastens to the side. Each bib was backed with plastic so that any milk or dribble wouldn't soak through to the babies clothing.

The bibs were soft although I did wash them first before using them to make sure they were as soft as they could be. The bibs washed really well although being white they did stain when we got to feeding with food especially as most baby food seems to be bright orange for some reason.

The Velcro on these bibs was really good and stayed strong whilst we used them which was for about a year or so except the ones which accidentally made their way into my drier since then the plastic melts. The bibs were pretty absorbent too which is great as my daughter liked to guzzle her milk and would end up with a pretty soggy bib in the process.

I think these bibs were great and I would recommend them although as you will see from another of my reviews they are no better than the Asda version of the bibs.

Summary: Great value
