Nice soft, absorbent bibs
Member Name: bluebell190
Advantages: So cheap, £3 for pack of 5
Disadvantages: Mine has gone very grubby looking and mishapen!
I have bought so many tesco bibs over the last few months, I have every different design they do! My four month old suffers with bad reflux and is a very sicky baby and has to wear a bib all day to save his clothes getting wet.
The ones I am reviewing are the ones with the 'mummy's little champ' slogan on, as these are my favourites. This is a pack of 5 bibs for £3, which is so cheap as these are a really nice design and I have had a few comments from my friends saying they are nice bibs. There is no picture here on dooyoo of them, but if you go to the Tesco website, http://www.clothingattesco.com/invt/kb239236/ you can see them here.
The bibs are held together by cardboard which the bibs are fastened around by the silver stud. There are two plain white ones with a blue boarder, a blue and white stripy one, a red, blue and black stripy one, and one with 'mummy's little champ' slogan on. They are definitely little boy's bibs, not unisex.
These bibs are cotton ones not plastic backed as I feel the milk just runs off the plastic ones, but with these cotton ones the milk soaks into them. They feel nice and soft, are 100% cotton, and don't rub on my babies neck or irritate him at all.
These fasten around your babies neck with a silver stud which is really easy to open and close, even with one hand whilst holding my baby.
I go through about 10-15 bibs a day at the minute! As I have to wash them so often, these bibs have definitely shrunk and lost a bit of there shape. They don't look as nice as they did when new, but they still do the job just as well. The white has also started to go a dull grey colour, but I just replace them every month or so as they are so cheap there's no need to keep hold of the grubby ones!
Theses bibs do a great job at protected by baby's clothes, no milk goes through onto his baby grow, the bibs absorbs the milk very well, if it wasn't for them losing shape and going a bit discoloured in the wash, I couldn't find a single fault with them.
I would definitely recommend these bibs, in all designs from the Tesco range, not just these ones, they all work just as well, and I will continue to buy them over the next few years for my little one!
Summary: Great bibs for the price with a nice range of designs to choose from
