Advantages: Soft cheap and comfortable

Disadvantages: Not so good if your milk flow is huge

When I had my first son my 'let-down reflex' was very random and my milk flow was out of control. I would constantly be paranoid that I had a lovely wet patch on my tops which has resulted in me picking up a very bad and embaressing habit. I find I will be walking along and notice that I'm caressing my breast to make sure I can't feel a wet patch and whenever I felt my boobs 'letting down' I quickly wip my hand down my top to make sure my breast pads are on my nipple so I don't end up looking like I've just been for a swim. I do get some funny looks and my hubby is constantly telling me to leave my boobs alone!

I breastfed my first son for 17months at which point he self-weaned because my milk changed as I was 7 months pregnant. I am now feeding my 3 month old and he is still going strong. As you can imagine I tried my fair share of different breast pads throughout this time. Some are too thick, some are too thin, some are uncomfortable, some shout 'Look at me! You will not beable to take your eyes off me because I look like a massive growth on this womans boob' and some are just useless. The I tried these and I have stuck withem eversince.

They come in a rectangular box and the box is a lovely pink colour. They are £2.49 for a box of fourty and they also do them in boxes of 80 but I'm not sure of the price. This time around a box will last me quite a while because my milk is more under control wheras last time I went through tonnes.

They are very soft and I find them really comfortable. There is a little indent in the middle of the pad for your nipple to rest and the back of the pad has a milk proof cover so the milk doesn't leak through the back. They aren't as thick as Avent breast pads which is good because I find they arent so noticable through my tops They aren't too thin that they don't last five minutes either.

I don't think these guys would be any good for someone with a huge milk flow because I find I do have the odd accident with them. Sometimes the milk does over flow out of the sides. Maybe if you were going to use these then you'd have to use two. I think this would probably be the case with most breast pads though if you had a big milk flow.

Over all these pads are comfortable and are great value for money and I would recommned you give them a try because you could save yourself a fair bit of money.

Summary: A great valued breast pad.
