After purchasing some AVENT breast pads at £3.99 for a box of 40, I thought hey I will buy some cheaper ones and save myself a few pounds, afterall there can't be much differance between them as there really is not much that can go wrong. Boy how wrong was I, after purchasing the Tesco breast pads at £2.94 for a box of 80 (bargain I ... Read the complete review

When I had my first son my 'let-down reflex' was very random and my milk flow was out of control. I would constantly be paranoid that I had a lovely wet patch on my tops which has resulted in me picking up a very bad and embaressing habit. I find I will be walking along and notice that I'm caressing my breast to make sure I can't feel a wet patch ... Read the complete review

Where do I start, I tried about 15 different breast pads with my son as had a really strong let down reflex so needed something to keep me dry, especially at night when I would have to wake several times in the early stages because I would be wet though. My partner actually bought these when my son was admitted to hospital and i needed ... Read the complete review

I decided to try these pads as the price was great. They were on display on the self in my local Tesco and straight away the box and the price jumped out at me. The pads I was using were good, but I thought I try the 'value' one and soon realised you definately get what you pay for. On my first trip out shopping, I was feeding my son ... I gave birth to my daughter Isabelle in November and have breast fed ever since. I am loving every minute of it apart from the leaks (and the silly bras!) I want a pad which doesn't restrict what I wear too much, since the bras do that enough already! These pads come in packs of 40 (£2.29) and 80 (£3.99) so they are well priced compared ... Undoubtedly Tesco's disposable beast pads are as good as any other brand, but they don't absorb milk like washables. We have an airing cupboard for drying laundry, but I'm sure folks can find a spot by the bedroom radiator for drying washable breast pads in winter. Disposables, well, they're just like a tissue when wet. I ... Read the complete review

I tried Johnsons breast pads and I was very impressed with them, the only thing I wasn't impressed with was the price of them. I was walking down the aisle in Tescos when I noticed a box of breast pads, they must be popular because it was the last box on the shelf!! So I decided to give then a try, thinking they should be good ... Read the complete review

Imagine my dismay when my husband returned from Tescos with their own brand breast pads. Up to that point I had been using Avent disposables which on hindsight weren't as good as I then thought they were (see review). Not wanting to send my husband back to Tescos to get 'the right one's' I decided to give the Tescos ... Read the complete review

I loved these pads, although I mainly used washable ones I kept disposables in stock for emergencies (like when I was behind on the washing!). They are a nice shape with an amusing "dent" in the middle where your nipple is supposed to go! The shape is nice and tapered at the edges so they are less obvious under clothes. They are not ... I knew from the start that I was going to breast feed my baby, so I had thought long and hard about whether to use disposable pads or reusable ones. I decided to use disposable ones mainly for ease, and as I shopped at Tesco I decided ton try their own brand. They are inexpensive, don't leak (unless you put them in back to front like I did!) ...
