I have just bought this for my son as he's an extremely fussy eater and the hope is that this will encourage him to eat better!! The set is recommended for 3 years and above but my son is 2½ and plays with it well. I've looked closely at it and can't see any small parts that could do him harm. It comes in a see through plastic bag with 2 handles and 2 velcro fastenings to keep everything inside. Inside are: 2 plates and cups 2 knives and forks 1 pan and lid 1 frying pan 1 spatula, draining spoon, serving spoon and ladle 2 each of burgers, chip portions, fried eggs and pea portions In total 23 pieces, which cost (I think, as my hubby picked it up) £3.99. He plays with it a lot, insisting on taking real drinks from the cups and I'm hoping that if I put real food on the plates he may also try that. It's really good for imaginary play and for those of you who think it's a bit girly, don't forget, some of the world's top chefs are men!!
